My birthday weekend was awesome. Thanks everyone for the wishes and the gummi bears.
Tory was here for some conference so we got to hang out. She gets to travel a fair bit with the company she works for now and also they made this sweet bio for her (see end of post). Pretty snazzy eh? Anyhow, we went out to Cardero's with Meghan McDougall and some of her friends on Friday night and went to the Aquarium on Saturday. I've never been to The Aquarium ever, so it was cool to see all the fish (and mammals). Also it was cool because it was the site of Courtney's best (and only) known tv appearance- Sesame Street's Creature Feature, where she looked cute and got excited about Sloths. Her mom actually still has the clip on VHS.....I should digitize it and put it on YouTube. Saturday night we had a real party at the VINE. We even got a little keg from Granville Island Brewery which worked perfectly. Pretty much the opposite from how kegs normally work.
Also of note, Courtney got me a Slacklining rig for my birthday. I've already used it a number of times and have improved my skillz a little. I'll put up some pictures next time so all of you who don't know what it is can see it in action.

In fact...
Courtney has greater fame than you realize!!! She did 4 Sesame Street features and as a proud mother, I can attest to the fact that she was cute in all of them... not unlike the picture that you posted of her on your blog... just a bit smaller and fuzzier! Sloths... marmosets... chicks... and a "dad so cool her gets her ready for school"
And yes indeed... I possess a VHS version of all of them!

I remember the sloth and chickadee ones but not the others. We should get those digitized if we can.
